Program Info for Athletes and Adults

Athlete Performance (90 minutes!!!)
AGSP athletes get the following results: 
RUN FASTER! 
GET QUICKER! 
JUMP HIGHER! 
BE STRONGER! 
BE MORE EXPLOSIVE!

    SCHEDULE:
    MONDAY - FRIDAY: 3:30PM and 5:30PM.  
    SATURDAY: 9:00AM and 10:30AM.

    Ages 10 and up!

    WHAT WE DO AND HOW WE DO IT
    - Athletes learn how to cover ground faster and more efficiently.
    - Athletes’ movement patterns are permanently reprogrammed for faster starts, quicker acceleration, and extreme top speed running!
    - Athletes change direction faster, safer, and more explosively. Don’t let slow agility keep you from playing more and bettering your game!
    - ALL AGSP athletes increase their vertical jump! Some athletes have increased their vertical over a ½ foot!
    - Athletes get strong! They play more physically! The strength and power they develop at AGSP takes their game to the next level!

    Our coaching philosophy is to foster a positive and safe environment that promotes cognitive, psychological and physical development for athletes of all ages and skill levels. The creeds of our coaching constitution are to:

    - Focus on each athlete's long-term development
    - Educate the athletes, parents and team coaches
    - Maintain attention to detail
    - Tailor our coaching style to the unique needs and learning styles of each athlete

    At Akron General- Sports Performance, we strive to help our athletes become faster, more powerful and more agile. It is also our goal through our coaching style to help athletes experience psychological benefits that help them become more well rounded, successful individuals in sport and life.

    HOW WE DO IT
    • Adult Performance is a 60 minute program; 20 minutes of active-dynamic warm-up and 40 minutes of strength and conditioning.
    • All areas of health and wellness are trained including strength, power, cardiovascular endurance, stamina, flexibility, balance, mobility, coordination, agility, and accuracy.
    • Training is performed in a fun, small-group environment that is stimulating and supervised. No more than 6 per group so you get the personalized attention you need.
